E Pacific Coast Hwy, Long Beach, CA - Phone Number. Cute little AMC theater! Came here last night & it was the first time I have waited in line to purchase a ticket from the ticket window in about 1. The bathrooms and theaters are clean. I wish they had the reclining chairs. Other than that the food service is really great I took a long time deciding and asked so many questions. Carlo's in particular was very patient with me he is a great and very friendly employee I just thought management would like to know that and I wanted to acknowledge him. Thank you. PS 3 for no reclining chairs. This theater has a lot of memories for me because my mom used to live in Long Beach and we would watch movies together whenever I came down because bonding is bonding. It's cool because you climb down some stairs to get to the theater. Who doesn't like pre- movie exercise? Last week we came in on a weeknight (Tuesday night) so it wasn't particularly busy but still of course had people coming in to watch the latest movies (Finding Dory was amazing!). Because of the lack of busyness/business, the place didn't have the usual staff stationed at the door to tear your ticket. I feel like it only matters if a theater is extremely awful, but don't we all just pick the theater closest to our houses/wherever we happen to be?
The Apollo Cinema is an historic theatre located in Kitchener. NEW DIGITAL RESTORATION! Orphaned brothers Jody and Mike live in a small town whose residents are. DEADLINE: It feels like the only real question with Captain America: Civil War is, how high? But there have been questions on Doctor Strange and the casting of Tilda. Ad Age's Women to Watch Europe 2016 Meet 20 Who Are Changing Marketing and Advertising in Europe. I mean, some theaters show only so many movies but we also can just look up which theaters are playing the movie we want by searching that movie up online. If you live in Long Beach, this theater is a good pick! Right next to a Barnes and Noble bookstore if you want to kill time before your movie. AMC is a local theatre nothing too special if you're looking for all the odds and ends of the glamorous theaters they have these days. It fits our needs when you bring 3 young boys. They are quick and friendly. They show all the latest movies and have a concession stand with anything you should want. The chairs aren't the best, but you get what you pay for. Always plenty of space for groups, bathrooms are clean. Just what we need when it's a few minutes from where your staying . Personally, I enjoy AMC theaters. When I lived in the East Coast for sometime, this is their main string of theaters. Its located near a small outdoor mall. I was coming from an event and had some time to kill because my friends reception wasn't going to start until 6: 0. So, I decided to drive over to Long Beach right away so I wouldn't have to deal with Saturday afternoon traffic. The seats are nice, the theater is cozy. It has a unique setup having the entire theater in two separate buildings. I had a good experience here. I like this location, Whenever I come There is no line for tickets, or concessions. The matinee price was only $6. D. We had a huge theater and it was maybe 5. Considering how expensive it is to watch a movie at the theaters these days, this was a steal. Parking was easy breezy. Theater was clean and well maintained. I would definitely come back here to avoid the crowds at other major AMC theaters. The location is convenient if I just want to take in a movie without dealing with crowds, parking structures, etc. It's definitely not new or fancy but it's clean and maintained pretty well. The people are nice and the prices are reasonable compared to most other theaters. A good option if you're close to the area and don't need a super- fancy theatergoing experience. STEPH JUDGEMENT: Showing its age but decent. Seats here are very nice - large, well spaced and comfortable. I usually see films at AMCals at home in NJ and they aren't as nice but for some reasons are a bit more expensive. Tickets were $2- 3 less WITH a Fandango fee (which I don't normally pay). The front desk staff was helpful when the printer didn't work on the Fandango machine. I would see a movie here again. I wish my local AMC was more like this location. Surprisingly, there aren't that many movie theaters in Long Beach. The movie selections and times are good, but the place has deteriorated in cleanliness. From missing ceiling tiles to sticky floors in the theaters, the place needs some TLC and maintenance. Staff are usually friendly and haven't every had any complaints. Location is great as it is near 2nd street/Belmont Shore or Seal Beach if you are looking to start or end somewhere else. Lots of shopping nearby (Sport's Authority, Barns & Noble, Starbucks, Chipotle, Best Buy, Norstrom Rack, etc). Half hour wait and then get notified the projector isn't working. Why not check projectors before opening? In regards to location this theater is in a great one! Nice views close to restaurants & view of the bay. However, the theater isn't that great & worse part is they don't have stadium seating like most theaters.. On top of it being out dated there prices are expensive! Save money and go to the Cinemark theaters! Cinemark theaters are so nice.. Pricing starts at $7 & even for an evening showing the price is around $1. AMC the price starts at $9/$1. AMC marina Pacifica located on PCH and 2nd this movie theater is a good theater very well- kept floors are not sticky restroom is pretty clean decent enough everything here is good the food is a little same natural same prices so but other than that I would take the kids here. I believe this is the closest AMC to Long Beach and I only came here bc I was given gift cards for Xmas. You can see the sign from PCH but once you park, you can miss it because its on a lower level as compared to the other business. That is not to say its underground but it is hidden from plain view. And the theatres are separated into two separate buildings divided by the ticket booth. Its a strange and perculiar set up but this might help prevent people from sneaking into other movies they did not pay for. The lobby I saw was clean and the theatre was bigger than the Cinemark on Pine. It felt a little more old- school. The seats are traditional and do not recline, I repeat, DO NOT RECLINE. Sound and picture quality were both good even though the movie was a HUGE disappointment. You've got a rude staff here who don't have the decency to stop chatting with one another and help out the ONLY person there. I literally was the only person around. I had to ask, uhh, is one of u gonna help me or something? Seriously, don't put these kind of employees as the first point of contact for consumers/guests. U need people who are happy out who can at least fake a smile and say hi. Last time here. This theatre is set up kinda weird, exterior box office is in the middle and then 1/2 the theatres are in a building to your right and the other half in a building to the left. One thing I appreciate is they have movies they It could use some updating for sure. Especially since they are charging the same as updated locations. Just your standard movie theater. No complaints. The area is nice, but the parking is always packed and the theatres smell like old pee and B/O inside. The seats are old, stiff and uncomfortable! I went to see a movie today at this theater. The seats were really comfortable and the service was great everyone was friendly. Everything was great until my boyfriend tells me when we got home he thinks he left his wallet at the theater. I called the theater and the manager said he would go look for it. He ended up founding, thank God and held on to it until we got there. I am grateful for Herman the manager who was honest and returned my boyfriends wallet with all the money he had in it.
